For those that cannot afford to pay, Moksh will offer services for free.
For others, Moksh will apply a charge for it’s services that will depend upon :
whether the deceased was a CPP contributor as per the Government of Canada death benefit provisions the operational cost of Moksh.
In true spirit of a Canadian Charity, Moksh will offer basic cremation services to all communities irrespective of faith. However, no non-Hindu services funeral choir will be offered.
Moksh has just been founded and is in it’s Publicity and Fund Gathering Phase. As such Moksh does not offer any services at this point. As we gather funds we will start offering services incrementally such as priest services, toll-free information service, at cost basic caskets.
In its fully operational state, Moksh :
- Will be a fully functional crematorium with multiple furnaces.
- Will employ in-house Hindu priests to conduct Hindu Vedic funeral procedures.
- Provide for dispersal of ashes.
- Will have fully equipped building and amenities such as havan-kund, bathroom, kitchen to carry out Vedic rituals.
- Provide grief counselling.
- When a death occurs in a family, upon being notified, Moksh will take charge of all aspects of funeral by cremation in the Hindu Vedic style. This will let the family of the deceased can simply take time to grieve and find peace instead of having to worry about funeral.
